The Articulated Gauntlets are so flexible that you can make a fist while wearing them! This characteristic enables swift movement and more agility in handling weaponry. They prove to be an essential for the noble medieval knight. Made from 18 gauge mild steel, these gauntlets are fully articulated, and all the joints move. The polished metal plates possess rolled edges, and provide protection for the forearm, wrist, knuckles, and fingers. To make wearing these gauntlets comfortable, they include a soft suede inner glove.
To properly maintain your steel gauntlets, always keep the metal away from water and lightly oiled to prevent rusting. Occasionally clean the gauntlets with metal polish and re-oil them.

- This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil. The quality and workmanship of this item is extraordinary! I am surprised at how comfortable this style of gauntlet is to wear. I have full range of motion with my hands and fingers. The only drawback I could find is the size would not fit extra-large fists of a friend who wanted to try them on. Honestly the best part of my full armor suit!

The work that was put into these gauntlets is outstanding. I love the design, I love how it feels around my hands, and I love how well it goes with my suit of armor. The only reason I am giving them a four star rating is because the leather on both of the index fingers ripped a little bit, but it was a pretty easy fix. Anyway, I highly recommend these gauntlets who is making a suit of knight armor.

Some plate gauntlets you can get off the rack are often oversized and bulky to accommodate for all hand and wrists sizes, and are sometimes too wide at the wrist. That wasn’t the case for me with these ones. These are properly proportioned, authentic looking gauntlets that are comfortable to wear and have fantastic range of motion and articulation. The fit is great, though if your hands are on the smaller size they may not be for you.
The only things I knock it for would be that there is no bump in the wrist portion to accommodate the carpal bone, which rubs uncomfortably on the flat inside of the gauntlet. I’ll have to see if I can dent it outward enough from the inside to make it more comfortable. All in all I love these.
