Corrugated Steel Half Gauntlets

When you are fighting in a fierce battle, you do not want the enemy to attack your hands. Wear the Corrugated Steel Half Gauntlets. Made from 16 gauge mild steel, these half gauntlets come as a pair. They feature flared cuffs with rolled edges. The cuffs wrap around the wrist. This helps to protect the wrist without sacrificing mobility. Riveted to each cuff is a main plate. The main plate has a scalloped shape. The rounding of the plate protects the knuckles and the back of the hand as well as provides room to move the fingers. Also, each gauntlet ends just past the knuckles.

The half gauntlets secure to the hand with an adjustable buckle and strap at the wrist. There is a leather loop near the top of the palm. Wearing these gauntlets works best with having gloves on underneath. Gloves do not come included. You can wear these gauntlets with your armour ensemble. They are great for a historical reenactment. The Corrugated Steel Half Gauntlets look wonderful at a faire or LARP event.

• This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil.
