Add the Blackened Balthasar Gauntlets to your medieval reenactment and LARP outfits for a touch of dark style. The gauntlets cover both the hands and part of the forearms, making these the ideal items for protecting those vital parts. Treated with electrochemical processing, the blackened steel is rust resistant and matches the rest of our Blackened Balthasar armour pieces. Wear them alone, as part of your favorite medieval outfit, or add them to your set of other Balthasar pieces.
Leather gloves are not included but suggested when these steel gauntlets are worn at LARP events or medieval gatherings.

Please be aware that this armour is handmade, and it can be thicker than listed here. As such, it is intended mainly for costuming, light reenactment, and LARP.

Materials:
- Crafted from blackened 18 gauge steel
Care Instructions:
- This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil. These look insanely cool. They are very heavy and articulate pretty nicely. The leather straps are fastened on well, but they may come without the proper amount of holes to keep them on properly, so be prepared to maybe have to punch a hole or two. Unfortunately, my hands are comically large, so they do not fit me around the hand as well as they likely should, but that is not the fault of the armor. The biggest downside is that they are a bit darker than the other dark-finished metal pieces on this site. These sort of have a spray-painted black look as opposed to a brushed metal look like the others.
