If demi-gaunts are not enough and gauntlets are too much, equip yourself with something in between! The Epic Dark Bazubands make an effective and elegant compromise between freedom of movement and protection. Originating in Asia Minor during the 12th to 14th centuries, the bazuband makes the perfect arm armour for Persian and Indian warriors. The bazubands protect the backs of your hands, thumbs, and underarms. Strong steel plates provide plenty of defense, while chainmail connects the plates to ensure unbridled movement and additional protection. Made from galvanized mild steel and top-grain leather fittings, the Epic Dark Bazubands have adjustable ductile steel flanks that allow for a closer fit. The darkened finish looks great and is designed to help prevent oxidation. This arm armour comes as a pair.
Please be aware that these armour pieces do not include leather gloves. They are pictured above with our Suede Swordsman Gloves (MCI-2231), which can be purchased separately. As these items are handmade slight deviations in pattern, color, and shape may occur.
To properly maintain your steel armour, always keep the metal pieces away from water and lightly oiled to prevent rusting. Occasionally clean the armour with metal polish and re-oil them. Leather care products must be used to maintain the leather fittings as well.

Care Instructions:
- This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil. These worked great for me, but be warned: These run SMALL! I have relatively small hands and they just fit me, with thin gauntlets. The color matches the other Epic Armoury dark armors. The chainmail occasionally pops loose but is a very simple fix.

This item is just badass, for it’s both arm bracers and it even reminds me of the anime character Guts from Berserk.

Ok first off, they look and feel badass wearing them. I only give this 4 stars because the leather strap came loose after I pulled too hard tightening it. The rivet could be hammered back in. You will definitely need to wear gloves or the metal thumb bit will press into your hand. Overall though, these are awesome looking if not the most practical.

These are SUCH a cool piece of gear. They look really awesome, and feel hefty and solid. Unfortunately, my hands are comically large cartoon gorilla hands, so the thumb strap is a very tight fit, and the arm guard is a little tight. Well made, great piece of gear.
