Vikings who plunder and pillage LARP villages require a good blade for their barbaric endeavors. Wield this LARP Seax on your next Viking campaign. Made from soft EVA foam, this LARP dagger has a fiberglass rod core with a Kevlar core tip, in addition to a latex coating. Between the foam and the latex coating, this is a very durable LARP weapon. This dagger has a handle painted to look like wood. It has two concave curves for a better grip. Also, there are two faux rivets to make the handle look attached to the tang. The steel-toned blade has the typical sheepsfoot point found in a historical seax. This LARP dagger is ideal for LARP battles, cosplay events, and theater productions.

- Latex weapons do need to be maintained to a certain degree. We offer a 100 ml LARP Protection Gel Silicone (MCI-3722) in our LARP Accessories section. We recommend you use the silicone on a regular basis. The silicone will keep the coating flexible and increases the lifetime of the weapon. It came in the mail today. I look at this thing and I reeeeeally want to thrust with this thing but the core seems to be closer to the spine and by thrusting I’d risk thw core breaking through and that’s about the only gripe I can find. It’s lightweight I can preform quick and clean cuts with it and it suites pretty much any character that needs to carry something utilitarian. VERY happy overall

This is really nice and will serve its purpose well, but two things- first, and less major, is the tip arrived slightly bent. I’ve had this happen with a number of LARP things so it could be a shipping issue, but it’s a pain. Second, the grip is kind of weirdly sized. I have fairly large hands, and the spacing on the grip are too wide and too far apart to be comfortable. On top of that, it’s also too thin a grip to be comfortable. It’s also too thin a blade to fit snuggly enough into any frogs I’ve come apart where I’d feel comfortable running around and fighting without it falling out.
