Forged from 18-gauge mild steel, this helmet is inspired by the iconic sallets of late medieval Germany, Italy, and England alike. Starting from the top, this gothic helmet has a comb-like crest that tapers into the tail at the back. This articulated tail sweeps up in the back and is accented with flowers. This product is also handmade, so it may vary slightly in shape and thickness.

Leading into the forehead is a scalloped, reinforced plate that gives you better protection just above the eyes. This visor has a narrow eye slit with a pointed nose guard. There are rivets on each side of the helmet. These rivets are the hinges that swing the visor up and down. When lifted, the visor gives you unhindered visibility. There is an adjustable chin strap on the inside for an easy fit. There is also a padded lining for additional comfort.
