Don the Steel Knight Great Helm, noble Templar, and prepare to defend the Holy Land. From the battlefields of history to the realms of fantasy, this iconic great helm lets you immerse yourself in the high medieval period.
Battle-Ready Craftsmanship
Forged from mild steel, this helmet is a sturdy, heavy, and exceptionally durable piece of armour. This crusader great helmet has the characteristic flat top, straightened sides, and a barrel-like shape. The top of the skull has a riveted steel band for added reinforcement. This product is also handmade, so it may vary slightly in shape and thickness.
In front, the iconic crusader cross accents the horizontal eye slits. Each limb of the cross ends in a riveted Fleur de Lis, a common symbol of knighthood and chivalry in medieval Europe. Each cheek on the helmet is perforated with holes for ventilation. There is a cross-shaped vent on the wearer’s right side. Inside the Templar helmet is an adjustable chin strap for keeping the helmet secure when you’re on the move. There is also a padded liner for additional comfort.
