Part of the Athena Initium line from Ateliers Nemesis, this foam wizard sword has a cutting-edge construction for heightened detail, safety, and durability. Thermoforming fuses the closed cell foam of the blade together, making this LARP weapon ultra safe and shred-resistant. A fiberglass core in the center makes it a strong and flexible weapon. This LARP sword is coated in a layer of latex for longevity. A unique weighting system then gives this medieval fantasy LARP weapon a point of balance for natural maneuverability. You will feel just like you are wielding the real thing, simply made safe for LARP.

The long, double-edged blade of this LARP battle mage sword is designed with a distal taper and a raised fuller. All along the blade are minor imperfections, giving it a weathered, battle-damaged finish. This battle-damage makes it look like a survivor of countless duels and battles. A distal taper means the base of the blade is slightly wider before becoming slightly narrower down the length. This durable foam blade then surrounds a strong fiberglass core which is in turn reinforced with a high weave polyester similar to Kevlar for heightened safety.

Moving down to the hilt, the cruciform crossguard angles toward the blade. A thorn on each quillon points toward the handle for medieval fantasy detail. The crossguard is also faceted, adding yet another layer of fantasy detail to the design. In the middle, there is an inlaid faux gem.

The blackened handle is designed to secure your grip with a tapering middle and engraved lines. This allows you to achieve a one-handed or two-handed grip for added battlefield versatility. The pommel at the bottom is a medieval fantasy design inspired by the fish-tail pommel style ending with a twisted pattern holding a faux black gemstone. Care Instructions:
