Available in black, brown, or green color options, the leather tabard comes in a traditional design with deep slits in the front and back. The slits allow an excellent range of movement for fighting or other activities. The medieval tabard is closed with leather straps that crisscross lace up the sides. This is easily the best all around medieval garment that I have ever bought. The leather is thick, dyed beautifully and well sewn. I have received many complements for how authentic it looks and how well it fits. The lacing allows for all sorts of options for combining outfits from soldier to craftsman to butcher to nobleman. Can’t say enough good things about it! Very Highly recommended.

what can i say but , WOW . for the price i didn’t expect much , but i have to say I’m impressed with the suede, it is soft and not to thin, a little “fuzzy” like some suede is, but has a great ranger look to it.

I really like this. I got it because I’m am iron worker and wanted a alternative to an apron. I wish they would show more pictures so people would get a better idea what the item looks like. It’s pretty good quality. A seam ripped A little cause I got into a fight in it but it held up pretty good. It’s pretty thick and feels heavy and Its good quality. It was worth the price I paid and a little more. Great item.

I bought this item looking for something to give my costume a more GoT flair to it without breaking the bank. This tabard definitely does so. It feels and looks very authentic and is an absolute bargain at this price. One thing to mention is that there are seams sewn into the tabard that don’t appear very well in the pictures online, however I think the seams add a very good look to the tabard. Overall a wonderful article of clothing that’s perfect for a lightweight costume.

I got the green/XXL. This is an amazing fit over my Medieval Gambeson. The thick suede feels great, and the green is much deeper than the pictures (it’s a hunter’s green, which was what I really wanted). The only way I could think of making this garment better for an active LARPer like me is to put a zipper in the front/center, but is absolutely period accurate and a great purchase. 10/10 would recommend

I ordered this in green with the Aaron canvas cloak in brown for a ranger/hunter outfit I’ve been working on and was blown away by how good they look! I’m a 5’9″ish male with a 37″ chest and the small fits perfectly.

I bought this in Green & absolutely love it!! If you are familiar with the Bowen Suede Jerkin (MY100825), Penda Suede Jerkin (MY100539), or any of the Garen Suede items (MY100145 & MY100109), this item has the same soft, durable suede material & quality construction. It has an overall length similar to the Bowen but has the authentic side lace-up closures like the Penda. It seems to have more mobility for your legs than the Bowen, too, since there are slits in the front, back, & the sides. I was unsure of what size to get with a 42 – 43 inch chest. I was leaning towards the Large since my measurement fell between that & an X-Large. I have a Penda Suede Jerkin & those sizes (L and XL) are combined into ONE garment whereas this tabard has SEPARATE products for each of those sizes. Two, different representatives at MC recommended that I get the X-Large. It was better for it to be a little too big than too small. I’m glad I took their advice!! The tabard looks, fits, & feels GREAT when I’m wearing it with the sides fully cinched up with no gaps–and, there’s still plenty of room for my shirt underneath. If I ever need the extra room for something thicker than my shirt, it will be there. I compared it to my L/XL Penda Suede Jerkin & they are exactly the same width across the chest. The color is beautiful! As mentioned by another reviewer, the Green color is darker than the pictures represent & I love it. I, too, cannot say enough good things about this tabard. I’m glad I finally decided to buy it & wished I would have gotten it sooner. I will be getting another as a back-up. Maybe in Green, maybe in Brown, maybe both.

bought this in black, large, I am 5’8″ and 190#. Like everyone else has said: this is a great piece and a super price. I’ve done a dark knight and cosplay some sith. Use with the Aaron cloak (winning combo) and you got a base for some great costumes from RenFaire to Halloween and then some.
