Highly adjustable, the Blackened Vladimir Tasset Belt is great for protecting upper legs during light reenactment. The dark finish lends it a distinct look, ranging from mysterious to sinister depending on how it is styled. Two layered steel tassets hang from the sturdy leather buckled belt, attached via eyelets and cords. This style of attachment make it easy to customize the tassets to fit the needs of the wearer. Rivets decorate the edges of each 18 gauge steel plate, adding classic detail that is sure to match a variety of historic looks and LARP outfits.
Please be aware that this armour is handmade, and it can be thicker than listed here. As such, it is intended mainly for costuming, light reenactment, and LARP.

The Vladamir Tasset Belt looks great, the only downside is that you need to provide your own means of attaching the tassets to the belt. This is easily remedied with some leather string from a craft store but it would have been nice to have all the pieces I needed to wear it as soon as I got it.

These are great looking and well constructed, note that they do not come with any leather lacing to tie to the belt. You will need to purchase that elsewhere. The only reason I wouldn’t rate 5 stars is because the strapping holes on the tassets do not line up very well with the strapping holes on the belt, and the belt sizing holes are very tight, requiring a little extra effort to put on. Other than that, they look and play great. I suggest getting a separate belt or baldric for any sword frogs. This is due to the tassets fitting and feeling better on top of the belt (as pictured), which doesn’t play well with placing your frog where you’d usually feel comfortable.
