Seems very sturdy! I have not yet had the opportunity to wear this to fair yet, but I have tried it on, and it’s very big/thick as I figured it would be. I plan to use it with plate and chain mail eventually, but for now will wear it alone, perhaps with a pair of gauntlets. Very happy with the modifiable nature of this particular gambeson as well, sometimes I’ll wear it sleeveless, or even just the vest.
