Burkhard Gambeson
Do not go into your next battle without the proper padding. Ensure your protection by wearing this awesome Burkhard Gambeson when you decide to fight. This cotton canvas gambeson features a felt padding made from a wool polyester blend. It comes in four colors and four sizes. The sizes range from Medium to XX-Large. It secures onto the body with straps on the side. There are three straps on each side. Besides securing the gambeson onto the body, the straps help to adjust the fit. Also, the gambeson has long sleeves and a short standing collar. There is lacing just under the collar for adjusting its fit. At the bottom the gambeson, there are two slits at the hem, one in front and one in back. The slits give the gambeson greater mobility. This Burkhard Gambeson looks wonderful at any Renaissance faire or reenactment. It is perfect for wearing under armour.

Excellent fit, easy to get into and out of when side straps are undone, you can leave sides straps attached but will probably need some help getting in and out of it.

An excellent gambeson for the price. Fitting is spot on. Comfortable and protective. If you plan to wear this under chainmail you’ll need to give yourself a break-in period.

I love it! It feels very crisp when wearing it around. The only thing is that it looks like it was around moisture in their warehouse or store because some of the side strap buckles had signs of rust on arrival that also stained the padded garment around them. Otherwise, I love it!
