This style of shoulder armour corresponds with the pieces used from the end of the 14th century to the middle of the 15th century. The 15th Century Spaulders make an excellent option for LARP events and historical re-enactments. Upper leather straps with two extra holes on the upper border allow you to attach the steel spaulders to almost any gorget or an arming garment like a gambeson. When designing a medieval armour set, be sure to pick the right arm armour like these metal spaulders.

- This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil. These shoulders fits perfectly and feels great to my knight armor! They look exactly like the picture and came well packed and oiled up.
It is a good price for it aswell, can really recommend it!

Initially I was looking for something smaller, but man, am I happy I grabbed these instead. These look great and fit really well. Initially in the hand they feel heavy, but once they’re on, you barely feel them.
Something to note, these should be tied off to an arming jacket. I’m not sure if this was a mistake, but mine did not come with the included cords. I also ordered upper and lower arm armor at the same time and those did come with the cords.
