With the Viking Bone Grip Longseax in hand, you can fight like a Viking. Take this sword with you to your next battle. Made from C60 high-carbon steel, this functional Viking sword has a straight blade with a sheepsfoot tip, typical of seax blades. A pair of fullers run down the length of the blade. There is a slight concave curve at the base of the blades edge. Also, the blade features a thick spine.

The early medieval sword has a short, round crossguard. It has alternating light and dark steel. The bone grip features an engraved, stylized knotwork pattern. At the end of the hilt, the pommel has a rounded design, matching the crossguard.

Finally, this Norse sword comes with a leather scabbard. The brown scabbard has brass trim. Norse runes run along the trim near the animal-head tip. Also, the trim has a pair of rings for hanging the scabbard from a belt, not included. This sword is great for historical reenactments and weaponry collections.

Nice weight, lovely details in the hilt and scabbard. I was looking for something different for RenFaire, and this is a lovely sword that no one else will have. Page says 5-7 day backorder, but mine arrived 3 fiscal days after I ordered.

Great Seax short sword. I have two of these now. It does have a threaded pommel, which is not necessarily historically accurate, but this sword delivers for the price. The scabbard is made from thick leather with sturdy brass trim. The handle is real bone. Feels great in the hand and its long intimidating design looks awesome hanging from ones belt.
