Inspired by the Imperial Legions

Crafted from leather, this cuirass is inspired by the Roman Empire from Antiquity. It’s perfect for LARP combat, costuming, and achieving a Roman-inspired look. The cuirass is designed as three overlapping leather pieces, two protecting the abdomen and one protecting the upper chest and neck. Both shoulder straps have open brass grommets for attaching the Roman Leather Pauldrons (RT-547). These pieces give you a degree of articulation, ensuring you have great mobility on the battlefield without compromising protection. The upper chest segment has studded brown panels in front and at the back. Just below the front chest piece, the two lower torso segments have wide, tapering brown panels for added style.

There are six black leather straps at the back of the cuirass for an adjustable fit. Each strap has open brass grommets for durability and added detail. This Roman cuirass ends at around the lower abdomen on most. Available in multiple sizes, this leather cuirass accommodates a wide variety of body types. Care Instructions:

• Remove dirt with a hard brush, then gently clean with leather soap and a soft, damp cloth. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe away remaining water. Let dry naturally. Condition with oil or polish, then wipe with a final cloth to remove excess residue.
