The harness features a back plate for added defense, as well as two buckled shoulder straps, which are highly adjustable and fitted with sliding leather accents for added comfort. The armor is free and open around the arms, which gives you full use of your sword and your shield arm. It also features two pair of long leather straps that buckle about the waist and abdomen, which help to make this leather breastplate far more accommodating in size then it first appears. Care Instructions:
- Remove dirt with a hard brush, then gently clean with leather soap and a soft, damp cloth. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe away remaining water. I was hesitant ordering it because the sizing description was super vague, in my opinion, but the return policy sold me.
With that said, it fits great. I’m 6’2″ and 220 lbs and it fit like a champ with room to spare. It could go bigger on me or it could go smaller on me. Definitely recommend this. I got a lot of compliments.

Really nice quality! The listed measurements are pretty accurate. I’m 6′ 225 lbs with a 48″ chest and 36″ waist and a medium is fine for me. The straps will let this work with a variety of body types or for the armor to be worn over other layers.

Well made and good looking. Very long straps adjust for even my chest and stomach (XL size). For LARPing it’s a great piece of gear.

Really nice quality. The leather is a little stiff and was kinked in places from spending time in a box. I used some leather conditioner on it and that helped. My only complaint (a small one) is that the adjustment holes on one shoulder are off.

Beautiful and well made. Slightly disappointed that the item is suade rather than finished leather as the the website seem to portray. The fit and feel is comfortable, although I wished that the side overlapping was a bit longer to cover the sixes of my body better. Overall the item is a huge bang for your buck.

This harness looks good as well as providing support and protection on the field. I recommend it if your looking for a lightweight armor but the thing you need to know is that it may not be quite thick enough depending on the game you play. I have to wear a leather vest under it to make it legal. Also looks bad ass over chain mail. Great value for the money.

Light weight, good price. A bit long, Tends to ride up the torso and sit around the throat. Works best with a gambeson. If you like it, buy it but there are better pieces on this website. My experiences are my own and yours may differ.

Quite arguably one of the best values on the site, this leather cuirass has held up against dozens of LARP events, be stored in the cab of a truck for years, and being worn under a plate breastplate for multiple Ren Faires. The sizing was perfect for me (I think I got a small and am 5’8″”/140 pounds), the look was excellent, and it breathes very well due to the design. Would very highly recommend this purchase.

This is great armor and is solidly made. I agree with other reviewers that there is tons of room in here. I bought an x-large with a 49 inch chest and could have gone with a smaller size and still had room to add chain underneath.
