When engaging in a fierce sword fight, sometimes it pays to have a dagger in your off hand. Make sure to check out the Parrying Main Gauche. Made from carbon steel, this dagger has a double-edged blade. The dagger continues with a straight crossguard. The crossguard has a ring at the center. Historically, this ring would help protect the wielder from thrusting attacks, allowing them to take control of their enemys rapier more easily. Next, this dagger has a twisted black grip. The hilt ends with a cylindrical pommel. The pommel has an end cap. Finally, this dagger comes with a leather belt sheath. Take this dagger with you to a historical reenactment or add the Parrying Main Gauche to any Renaissance armoury.
This item is handmade, therefore, it may vary slightly from what is shown above.
Please note that the style and color of sheath will vary.

I needed an example in my collection of a main gauche, and didn’t want to spend a lot. This dagger filled the bill quite nicely! A worthy and sporty blade! Better looking in hand, and solidly made. High carbon steel blade, which is nearly 12 inches long. Nice solid feel in the hand too. A good purchase! Very pleased. 5 stars!
