Very fun dagger! Works very easily in a belt loop. It’s pretty sharp, so between faires I use it to cut open boxes and as a letter opener. I have pretty big hands, and it fits decently well in mine.
Only thing not shown in the image is the little button on the sheath is actually a peace tie! It clasps closed over the guard, making it so you can’t pull it free. Just bring some zip ties just in case it doesn’t suffice for your particular Renfaire, as it can vary depending on the faire and who’s checking your person.

Quite good especially for the price. Comes sharpened, but not a razor edge by any means – plenty sharp enough to use as a letter opener or for opening bags and boxes while it’s not being used as a costume piece.
Fair warning though – I used it for the previously mentioned tasks and the blade developed some surface rust, so maintenance is required (the recommended products are there for a reason, I’ve learned). Keep some metal polish and some oil or wax on hand if you are ever planning to have this out of the sheath.
