Care Instructions:
Natural leather products are very durable but require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay flexible. Remove dirt with a hard brush, and then apply and rub on leather care product. Keep dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating.

I ordered the Med/Large Brown Leather Pirate Hat for my husband. It’s a very nice quality hat but sadly the “bowl” portion that sits on your head is very shallow so it’s as if the hat is not securely sitting down snug on your head but more like it’s balancing on the upper portion of your head. Also the inside leather banding is very stiff and feels harsh on your head. My hubby is bald so he would need to wear a pirate kerchief under it to avoid chaffing or we will need to find a way to add a cushioning headband inside the hat.
If he had tried this hat on in a store, he probably would not have purchased it due to the way it fits (sits up high on the head rather than fitting snugly down as a hat should be). So be aware if you purchase this hat it will not fit down snugly on your head so it feels like it could fall off if you more too quickly or if its a windy day when your playing pirate.

The order was sent out even during the shut down. I have one of these hats all ready and have been wearing it for a few seasons. Ordered this one to have a second one as a back up for second day of the fair. I get complaints all the time about my hat.

I ordered both a Black and Brown version of this hat. The Brown came in the Tricorn style shown in some of the pictures. The Black version also came in the Tricorn version which was not shown in any pictures; the Black versions always show the hat with two sides down and one curled upwards. I was surprised the Black version came as a Tricorn. I can see that the two sides can be pushed down by removing the leather straps holding it in Tricorn position. I have not done that yet. I hope it will be easy to adjust. It was that difference which triggered me to buy two hats.
Both leather hats looks great. I am pleased with my purchase. They were expensive and shipping was added. I find that I have to pay more to get quality merchandise like these two hats. The financial pain will only hurt momentarily; the satisfaction I will get from these two hats will last many years!
Now I will have to spend some more mullah to get my wife something she really wants. 🙂

This hat is amazing. I ordered the l-xl size and it’s perfect. I don’t see how anyone has a problem with the “bowl size” unless the medium is way smaller. This is a BIG hat.
