When attacking your enemy, every ounce of concentration is necessary. Remain focused by wearing the Farald Padded Greaves to keep you comfortable. Wear these padded greaves to prevent your armour pinching during your next battle. Made from cotton, this pair of greaves comes in two colors. They are available in one size only. Also, the greaves have a polyester padding. Next, they secure to the wearers legs by ties that wrap around the greaves and the legs. These ties help to adjust the fit. Stitching attaches the ties to the greaves near the ankle. In addition, vertical quilting on the greaves helps to keep the padding in place while you move. Great on their own, these padded armour pieces also work great underneath steel armour, sold separately. Add the Farald Padded Greaves to your LARP or reenactment ensemble.

Great value for the price, solid, well made, durable material that fits very well and is very comfortable. The only thing I’d say is that the fastening ties could probably be a little longer because even though they fit totally fine around my legs, I’m fairly thin and I can imagine a larger, stockier person might have more difficulty getting them to wrap around in a secure fashion. Other than that, it’s a very solid product that I’d highly recommend as a basic part of any medieval costume, especially if you’re going to be wearing armor.

Super good armor pads! I wish I could have gotten the arm pads with how much I like these ones. I got these plus the Crusader Leg Pads for my Elias legplates and they were really comfortable. I even tripped on my porch and they took the blow to my shin just fine!

These things are super comfortable. It makes wearing shin plates completely tolerable. If you’ve ever gotten a piece of armor and realized it was too big, these are meant to fill the void and provide cushioning from blows and that’s exactly what they do. They also look super sick just as they are, and can add a lot of anachronistic flare to pretty much any outfit have. Get the bundle that has the arm and leg bracers if they still have it!
