Forged from stainless steel, this katana is a faithful replica of feudal Japanese katanas, now recreated with a hint of enchantment. This katana, also known as a Japanese longsword, can be wielded with one or both hands. The unsharpened blade is slightly curved like true uchigatana from feudal Japanese history. The uchigatana is another traditional term for describing this slightly curved Japanese katana. Clever detailing in the steel reveals a distinct hamon line. Hamon is the wavy pattern close to the cutting edge of the blade. On the other side, the spine of the blade has a textured finish for authentic charm.

Further down, the silvery grey habaki, or blade collar, is anchored to the guard and grooved for intricate detail. The tsuba crossguard is fashioned in the shape of clouds, complete with lobes like the mokko-gata style for dynamic detail. The handle is wrapped in a layer of faux black ray skin, then wrapped with white polyester cord, known as tsuka-ito. Please note the cords on the handle may not be wrapped as pictured. At the bottom, the hilt is wrapped through a grey kashira pommel with two concentric grooves for added detail. This decorative katana comes with a black hardwood saya, also known as a scabbard. It has a grey topmount, known as the koiguchi, that braces against the guard when sheathed.
