Care Instructions:
- This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil. Very solid arm bracers, sturdy, maneuverable. Beware though, color is actually much darker than the website photo suggests. (Reaches an off black rather than a darkened silver) Other than that though, good stuff.

The listing does say that they are handmade and may have color variations, but I think it should be noted that the straps may come in brown or black. The item photo clearly shows black. I received brown straps.
I was prepared for this since I have purchased the greaves previously and the straps came in brown on those too. But be aware that the manufacture ships these out with brown or black straps and apparently these re-sellers have no control over what they receive.
I bought a bottle of black leather dye to turn them black. It cost an extra 8 bucks. Not only are the straps now black, but my hands are too. (wear gloves when dying leather next time dummy)

It looks awesome. The colour is almost black in person opposed to aged silver in the photo but it looks even better. Sturdy construction. For the price its excellent.
