Like its historical inspiration, this brass helmet is conical with a spike at the top and a pronounced brow. For added convenience, the top spike has a forward-facing notch so you can add your own plume. There are also two plume holders on either side, perfect for adding an iconic feather crest worn by Roman Republican legionaries. The hinged cheek plates make it easier to take on and off and offer great side protection.

The inside of the helmet is blackened for added contrast. There are two black rings, one inside each cheek plate.
