Simple axe, comes blunt out of the box so no worries on cutting yourself. Was a bit longer than I expected, but it still works fine. I think the value for the money is spot on, definitely recommend.

Nice looking axe! Like the other reviewer, and contrary to the item description, the axe does not come sharpened. Hefty feel and great look for re-enactment. I have not yet sharped it and put it to use, but it certainly feels like it will stand up.
