Blackened Ortwin Tassets

While you may remember to protect your torso from attack, it is equally important to protect your thighs as well. Wear the Blackened Ortwin Tassets. Made from 18 gauge steel, these tassets have a blackened finish and rolled edges. They come as a pair. Also, the tassets have buckles at the top for attaching to armour like the Ortwin Blackened Cuirass (MY101086), not included. Each tasset has two buckles. In addition, the tassets have a two-piece construction and an asymmetrical shape.

The top pieces of the tassets have the buckles. These pieces are rectangular with slightly rounded corners. Rivets connect the top pieces to the lower ones. Then, the sides of the tassets come down with a very gentle curve. The outside edge is longer than the edge near the inner thigh. The inside edge then curves away from the inside. The bottom of the tassets have the two sides form a gentle point. This asymmetrical design gives the wearer greater mobility as it conforms better to the shape of the body. These Blackened Ortwin Tassets make a fantastic addition to any suit of armour for LARPing and cosplaying.

• This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil.
