In the medieval world, people used herbs for both food and medicine. The Anselm Herbs Knife would look right at home in a medieval castle or a modern kitchen. The curved edge of the knife cuts through herbs without squashing them, keeping them intact for your culinary requirements. The curved wooden handle allows the user to more comfortably control the knife. The handle is riveted to the tang of the blade. Like other knives in the Anselm series, which are sold separately, this knife has a dark textured finish on its tool steel blade. Cut rosemary, sage, or other fresh herbs with this unusually shaped knife.

This blade is perfect for herb preparation! First off, it is so much larger than the image depicts. The curve is ideal for rocking the blade and chopping finely without getting your fingers in the way! The handle is comfortable and the back edge of the blade is wide enough not to dig into your palm as you apply pressure to the blade. Looking forward to acquiring a sheath as soon as they become available!
Just a heads up, this looks like a high carbon steel blade, and as such it will rust easily. Also, it will take, and hold, an edge like no other. Past experience has taught me that melting beeswax and polishing it in will save rusting and pitting later.
