Solid and heavy piece by Mytholon. Very impressed with the craftsmanship and design. M was an excellent fit at 5’10” and 145 lbs. with the right amount of ‘looseness’. Bordeaux (wine/burgundy) color is very close to display item and (to me) a better aesthetic than the brighter red of Landsknecht. Should last for years with care.

This shirt is absolutely wonderful. I originally ordered it in size large, thinking I would barely fit the medium (mind you, I’m 6’2 and 160 lbs), but quickly came to realize the noticeable gap between sizes. Medium fits me like a glove! As for the shirt itself, this is my first dabbling in slashed sleeves, and I am quite truly blown away in its quality and presentation. I do believe that edwardlsomers worded it best when stating that it has “the right amount of ‘looseness,'” as it definitely does. If you’ve never worn this kind of puffy shirt before, it may catch you off guard for a little bit, but is a very quickly appreciated and eventually loved feature. Even with a skinny figure such as mine, some proper layering can help make the bagginess look less like I’m swimming in the garment (although I most certainly am). I intend on wearing this beneath the Garen Suede Tunic once that arrives this weekend. I have worn it under the Garen Suede Vest already and the black helps distract from the visible gaps between the vest’s buckles (my vest is also black so it’s far less apparent). I believe if your character will look well with a slashed shirt, look no further than this. Mytholon rarely disappoints and once again this new piece to my collection proves my point. 🙂
