When you are a Roman emperor or general, you require a sword with some ornate style. Thus, you wield the Titus Vespasianus Gladius Sword. Made from high carbon steel, this functional sword features a straight, double-edged blade. A ridge runs down the middle of the blade. Next, the sword has a short crossguard. The crossguard features a rectangular shape. The corners on the hilt side of the guard are rounded. There are grooves creating a V-shaped on the hilt side. On the blade side, the crossguard has a black felt pad. This removable pad helps to protect the hilt from scratching.

Then, the hilt has a slightly ridged grip. The ridges on the bone grip make it easier to hold. The hilt ends with a wooden pommel that matches the crossguard. It has a V-shaped grooved pattern and a brass pommel nut. Finally, the sword comes with a wooden scabbard. Brown leather covers the wood. It also has brass fittings. Ornate, engraved designs on steel plates adorn the fittings at the top and on the chape. They occur on one side of the scabbard. Also, these designs feature people in each scene. On each side of the brass fittings, there are two rings. These rings allow the scabbard to attach to a belt, not included. This sword looks great on the battlefield in action and added to a sword collection.
