Worthy of review simply to pass on further information. I’m giving it 5 stars with caveats that might lower others score. First, these boots are amazing, they look as good as the pictures, they are the real deal if looking for all leather boots. Which means it isn’t going to have the modern comforts many of us are used to so temper expectations in that regard. The only real downside is the sizing, listed on the site the highest it goes is mens 11 (Euro 44) which means less flexibility in sizing, this is the ONLY point I’ll make that would dock a star. The sizing runs a touch small so keep all packaging and tags, try it on as soon as you get them, I haven’t used it but I trust customer service to help with sizing issues within the listed limitation of “we can’t go bigger than what we offer” I usually wear 10 sometimes 10.5 due to foot shape, the 11 starts out tight but not painfully tight (breaking them in isn’t bad but requires a bit of leather knowledge, but whats authentic wear without a little authentic knowledge?) Overall I’d say these are a little niche, if you are looking at these and considering them you likely are already in the right market to enjoy them and for that they are worth every penny. One final note in terms of the leather care, where I am not passing on advice this is because there is some information that is lacking on the product and do wish there was either a care sheet for breaking them in or the information to help ensure how you do it isn’t going to hurt them. I made an educated guess as a leatherworker to what to do and it seemed to work but I hesitate to offer that advice in a review in the event I was or am wrong. The main things missing are tanning information and what treatments are already applied. Customer service may be able to help in this regard but I do not know, I did not contact them, the end results worked perfectly for me your results may vary.
