Do not forget to protect your feet from the enemy in battle. Wear the Epic Dark Sabatons on your feet to guard them from attack. Made from 19-gauge mild steel, these black foot guards come as a pair. They are available in three sizes. The medieval sabatons feature multiple overlapping plates to cover the front and top of the foot for greater flexibility. Rivets secure the plates together. In addition, rivets attach two thin straps to the bottom of each sabaton to help ensure that it moves with the foot. There is also a leather plate along the back of the foot. This leather plate has two thin straps on top that adjust with buckles to help secure each sabaton onto the foot. The Epic Dark Sabatons works great for Renaissance faires, LARP events, and more.

- Keep away from water. Clean with a metal polish and re-oil occasionally to properly maintain the armour. Use leather-care products for the fittings.

TBH, I’m not a huge fan of the “Epic Dark” finish, I’d prefer something closer to a solid black. This is more of a streaky dark grey. The leather straps are very thick and high quality, but I’m wondering if maybe they’re a little to thick bc it made buckling a little difficult. I appreciate the two straps on the bottom to secure it too the foot, but after one day of use, the thick leather straps became separated from the sabatons at the rivet connections. Luckily, bc of the extra bottom strap, they were able to stay secured to my feet.
