Stay hydrated without breaking immersion when you carry the Medieval Suede Water Skin to your next reenactment or LARP event. Inspired by common medieval items used for travel, this practical water pouch lets you sip quietly from the sidelines or right at camp throughout the day. Whether you are roleplaying a merchant, ranger, or scoundrel in a fantasy world, this historically inspired product helps keep your aesthetic intact.
Wrapped in natural materials like suede and shaped in a stylized comma curve, this waterskin contains a plastic liner that allows it to hold your preferred liquid, be it water, wine, or the occasional herbal preparation. The outer case is both rustic and lightweight.
The capped plastic drinking tip lets you take a quick drink without spilling the contents, making your drink last longer. The cap stays attached, so it’s never lost on the trail. This bladder-like drinking container also has a corded strap that functions as a carrying handle, giving easy transport to any in-game moment.
Because our waterskin is handmade from natural components, slight variations exist from the products shown in the images. This helps improve authenticity to the era and genre. The waterskin will blend perfectly with your other medieval tools, whether you have a leather belt, an oil vial, or a scabbard on your left leg.

After doing the research, I found that these bottles were the most authentic looking ones for the price. The 1.5 liter is plenty of water, even for a plate wearing person, and I didn’t have to work hard to clean the bottle before using it. Usually when you get Bota bottles, they have that weird chemical or rubber taste when you drink from them, and washing them with any kind of soap affects whatever you put into it from that point on. Not this bottle! I swished some 99% rubbing alchohol in it and then rinsed it out. Ready to go.

I got this, after attention my Ren Faire last year during over a hundred degree temperature. They were giving out free water at certain spots but it didn’t have anything to hold the water with, and wanted something that would match my costume. After it arrives, it looked perfect.

Nice bota bottle for the price. It’s good size for a half day outing. It didn’t have any weird smell or taste which is always good.
