These boots just arrived and they are great! I have been looking for a long time. I wore them last night for about 4 hours of walking and riding during caroling and a pizza party after. They worked great for being right out of the box. A little tight in a spot or two but they were broke in by the end of the night. Sizing is pretty much accurate. Leather is soft and supple. If you are looking for a good set of boots for LARP or riding you will like these boots.

Just received these boots and they are not as described. Overall with the additional work (removing velcro, resewing 14 buttons, attempting to remove the interior foam back to add room and make them more breathable) I will need to do to make them usable these are not worth the $182 price tag.
PROS They are very light when you are wearing them. They look really nice.
CONS The size is small. I wear jump boots everyday (size US 10) and these Medieval Knight Boots are a very narrow and TIGHT boot, something that I’m not sure will change as they wear since these are NOT leather and even come with an additional layer of horribly constricting and non breathable foam glued to the interior of the the entire boot. Definitely recommend ordering a size up especially if you need to wear some kind of arch support. Again, these are NOT leather. They look and feel more like a faux leather. The buttons are sewn on, but they are not secured at all beyond wrapping the loose thread and one was almost completely off straight out of the box. The way the thread is wrapped means that if they come loose there is no slack to properly secure the ends. (If you purchase be prepared to have to remove and reapply all 14). The soles are extremely soft (almost spongey) rubber. The heel is thick but the rest of the sole is pretty thin (you can feel the bottom of your foot by pushing against the sole with some light pressure). These boots come with a VELCRO tab at the bottom of the split that is not in the description. This makes the boot very difficult put on and tie.
