I was immediately drawn in by the interesting suede/leather pattern on these gloves. They do NOT disappoint. They are sturdy AND versatile. The leather is very soft & pliable where you want it to be. The suede adds strength & durability where you need it to be. The suede fingers are stiff, but just need to be broken in. They look very cool, feel nice, & provide decent protection. The sizing is pretty accurate, but I relied mostly on the “Length from Middle Finger to Wrist” measurement to make my decision. I normally wear Large gloves from Epic Armoury & the Large gloves in this style fit very well. (I still would like to know what a Medium would feel like, though.) I liked them enough to get both colors. I’m very glad I did. Highly recommended. I received them quickly & without any issues.

The leather vendor at the faire I was attending kept shifting their glove inventory to other faires across the state, inspiring me to look online despite being weary of buying such a specific item without being able to try it on. The size chart for this pair is reliable. The cuffs are also wide enough to fit over my tailored gambeson and chainmail, and the lacing along the sides will help further if that’s the look you’re going after.

These Falconer Gloves are fantastic! The sizing chart was spot-on for me. I got the black gloves because nearly all of my leather outer wear, cloaks, hats, sword-belts, ring belts, boots, shoes, etc. are black also. These gloves go well with anything I might want to wear. The leather is supple, and strong. These gloves are very well made, and very stylish. They form well to the wearer’s hands and look as I would imagine a nobleman’s falconry gloves would have looked. The side-lacings on both of the gloves are both functional, and very sharp looking. Very…medieval. They feel very comfortable and fit like a….glove. The price is very good for any all-leather ‘gauntlet’ style gloves: very reasonably priced for the craftsmanship, and badass look of these gloves particularly! I really love these. I give this purchase a resounding 5-stars: for appearance, quality-craftsmanship, and price.
