Made from steel, this functional axe head has a single fan-shaped blade. The blunt blade is thicker closer to the socket. This thicker section has a scalloped edge facing the edge of the blade. A pair of rivets adorns this thicker section.
Meanwhile, the socket is a cylinder. It has a straight top edge and an angled bottom edge. You can add this medieval axe blade to a haft, not included. This axe head makes a great DIY project for a reenactment or display.

This thing is a beast! I got this thing because it was like 24.00$ USD ( about 28.00$ with shipping) and I seriously couldn’t be happier. Over the past few days i hafted a giant 6’6 ash wood pole to mount the axe head to and holy moly it’s everything I could’ve wished for.
The axe head itself is beefy AF, sitting at about 3.5 pounds it feels like it was meant to slay monsters! The face of the blade is blunted, however the tips on either end are sharp so beware. The axe head easily handles wood and brush, snapping and slicing despite the unsharpened edge, all without deforming and contrary to the ‘mild steel’ composition it’s more than capable of being used for heavy duty martial training and more!
