For everyone from a king to an everyday peasant, headwear is very important. Every class in medieval society wore a hat like the Martinus Canvas Coif. This cotton cap is available in black or brown. It comes in one size. Being made of cotton, it is great for warmer events and protects the head from the sun. Use the ties at the bottom to secure the coif onto the head. The Martinus Canvas Coif looks fantastic at LARP events, Renaissance faires, and cosplay conventions. You can add it to a variety of characters and costumes with its versatile design.

I love this coif, this is the best coif I have ever owned. I purchased the bordeaux coif and the color is a beautiful deep red. The canvas is a nice and durable tight woven canvas. I love this coif, I love it, I love it, I love it. I will definitely be purchasing more of this coif.

This is a great coif! It is made very well; durable, tightly woven, cotton canvas. Lightweight enough for summer wear. It looks great as well (as coifs of the period go). I got mine in black. Now that I own it and have seen it; I intend to purchase the remaining three colors; as these are inexpensive enough to get them all, for different outfits. I actually bought this to go with my Benedictine Monk robe ensemble I just purchased and received as well; so I need not wear the hot hood up at all times (because I draw the line at getting an actual tonsure monk-haircut). This coif looks as it was made for these Benedictine robes! Perfect! This item is well worth it’s price!
