Under the side lacing, there are black modesty panels. After the bottom metal grommets in front, the hem of the bodice has an inverted V-shape. An instant wardrobe staple for me. I wear this bodice so often now. It has amazing hobbit or Rohirrim vibes depending on what you wear it with, and the material is soft and comfortable with a beautiful texture that feels high quality. This is a total dream bodice for me. I looked everywhere for “lace up vests” trying to achieve this casual fantasy look to no avail before I finally found this bodice. If you’re looking for something comfortable and flattering that goes with basically everything and has extremely good cottage core energy, this is the bodice for you.

Excellent quality and true to size. I’m 5’8” and 190, 44”/37”/46”, L fits well, with a front gap, I’ll try XL next for a bit more coverage. I’ll be ordering more in other colors. The cord in the front is way too short for me, so I’m replacing it, but that’s likely just because I sized down.

I’m oddly shaped – rather tall and thin (6’2″, 165#) so for bust, shoulders, and length I bought a large. It’s a slightly loose fit for my waist unfortunately. looks more like a steampunk vest without adjustments.
