Very nice hood from House of Warfare! It looks exactly as pictured pretty much down to the color. The suede is a great quality & it is assembled with an attention to detail. There were no issues with the stitching & the leather smelled awesome. It is easy to put on & easy to take off. It did come out of the package with a lot of inconvenient wrinkles here & there, but those can be fixed. The hood is huge & hefty. It covers your head & the mantle covers your shoulders nicely. I’m pretty confident that most helmets would fit inside this hood. One thing to note is that when you wear it with the hood down behind your head, the weight of the hood is enough to pull the front collar & mantle up into your neck as you move around. So, you’re constantly tugging on the front to keep the whole thing in the right spot on your shoulders. I haven’t found a hood yet–suede or otherwise–that doesn’t do that anyway. It’s certainly nice to wear this with the hood down when you need that option for your outfit, but this item clearly works out best when you are wearing the hood on your head to protect you from the elements or for stealth.
