Clothing in the late Middle Ages gradually became less about function and more about fashion. Even the Vikings, who were settling into a more agrarian Scandinavia, began to wear stylish decorative garments, one of which has been recreated in the Late Medieval Wrap Belt. This wool blend garment, which mimics the clothing of late-medieval Scandinavia, spans from the navel to the waist, its curved form overlapping at the center of the stomach, and it has long ribbons for tying it closed. Along its hem is a beautiful golden trim made of embroidered knotwork, and the thick, woolen material of the belt is designed to keep body heat in. The Late Medieval Wrap belt comes in red and brown, and it makes a fantastic addition to any Renaissance ensemble, particularly those with a Scandinavian flare.

The manufacturing smell is strong on this, so buy it will enough time to air it out a while. Otherwise this is an excellent accent piece to lot of different types of costume.
