Care Instructions:
- Remove dirt with a hard brush, then gently clean with leather soap and a soft, damp cloth. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe away remaining water. Let dry naturally. Condition with oil or polish, then wipe with a final cloth to remove excess residue.

Very comfortable, they seem to be sturdily made. Only two downsides are the ankle isn’t very adjustable, so it’s difficult to tighten the boots around the ankle, and also the bottom of the leather soles are coated in something that makes them very slick, so you need to rough them up quite a bit otherwise you’ll literally slide around on everything

Great quality, though I also suffered from the inability to tighten the ankles and has a little more drag, wore them all day at the ren faire, which transitioned locations from all forest to mostly concrete and now don’t have the issue with slippery soles, though will probably have to get them replaced and punch new lace holes at some point.

These boots are true to size, and seem to be made of quality material for the price. They arrived as shown. However, I did need to make some modifications to get them to the point I liked. The provided laces snapped on me almost immediately so I needed to replace with my own leather laces. I needed to punch additional holes to allow for adjustability in the closure. And as other’s have noted, the stock sole was incredibly slippery. This could be handled a few different ways, but I opted to glue-in some low profile Vibram half-soles and heel-lifts. This seems to be working fine, but given the apparent nailed Blake stitched construction there wasn’t a ton of real estate to trim the sole leather for a smooth transition. They also arrived quite dry so some initial leather treatment was definitely needed. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would buy these again, but I wouldn’t expect to pull these out of the box and immediately throw them on your feet.
