Snow Proof Silicone Water & Stain Repellent Spray

Whether you wish to waterproof your leather gear or fabric-based accessories, the Snow Proof Silicone Water & Stain Repellent Spray works for both. This topcoat is especially useful for DIYers, roleplayers, and reenactors.

Footwear has been important all throughout history. In the middle ages shoes represented both fashion and necessity. Everyone needed to protect their feet, just like today. Modern re-enactors who find that their outfit is missing something may well be missing the perfect shoes to complement the ensemble. Our shoes are faithful to their medieval counterparts, but represent no one singular style, allowing them to be worn with a variety of outfits. Just pick the style you like and your size and you will be ready for any re-enactment or ren-faire.

These Knee Length Medieval Shoes have been designed to fit the needs of period re-enactors and living history groups as well as other re-enactment societies. Suitable for military or civilian use and can be worn by men or women. Perfect for stage plays and renaissance fairs. Standard sizes allow for a lower price. Made from quality leather. Period accurate flat leather soles.

These shoes are made from natural leather. Natural leather can be prone to scuffing, and the shoes may already have minor scuff marks when shipped.

boots look great, fit well, and seem to be made good. You might think about a 1/2 size larger than normal for more toe room if you are not used to wearing pointed toe boots. Wear around the house to break in and you will be ready for any faire!

I ordered a 1/2 size down and hoped for the best, since the sizes don’t go up to a 12. I wasn’t disappointed! The boots fit snuggly, but not uncomfortably. The leather is high quality, and the soles are actually leather as well (no rubber here). Overall, I’m very satisfied and would definitely purchase from http://www.medievalcollectibles.com again! 🙂

The craftsmanship is authentic, real leather and period appropriate and high quality. You could make a movie with these and the snooty historians would have no anachronistic complaints. I would purchase again based on value, for sure. The sizing is the tricky part. I’m a tall, skinny dude, and the knee-highs were more like mid calf, and the leg opening was large enough to cram another two legs in. The ties on the side do not cinch or support the leg really. I think a bigger person could let loose pants/garb hang over or spill out of the cuffs. I am skinny enough that trying that made me look like a kid in his older brother’s Halloween costume.

Well built boots, good leather and leather sole. These break in easy and are very comfy to wear all day. These are a must buy! Some helpful recommendations if your going to be in a event like a LARP or SCA event you may want to take them to a cobbler and have them put on non-slip soles or for more historically correct add another layer one the sole and heel and get some hobnails (just don’t try to walk on tile or the like, you will slip) and you have excellent traction on the ground and save your soles to boot!
