The enemy approaches. You stand tall, ready to defend the kingdom. No armour piece was forgotten. You protect yourself with the Hektor Spaulders. These premium leather spaulders come as a pair and in three colors. They each have four holes at the top for attaching to armour or chainmail. They work best with the Hektor Gorget (MY101126), sold separately. Laid flat, the spaulders have a flat top edge. This top edge sits nearer the neck. The bottom edge curves outward in the center. This edge is nearer the arm.
Also, the spaulders have a double piece design. There are two pieces riveted together. They overlap with the top one nearer the shoulder. This top piece also has a scrollwork embossed design in the center. Towards each end, there are small medallions with scrollwork details. The medallion is brass-toned for the brown and green spaulders and silver-toned for the black ones. Attached to these main pieces, there are a few scales pieces on each end. These scales match the other pieces of Hektor armour, sold separately. The Hektor Spaulders work great for LARP events, cosplay conventions, and Renaissance faires.

Care Instructions:
- Remove dirt with a hard brush, then gently clean with leather soap and a soft, damp cloth. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe away remaining water. It is good quality leather. but it does not hold onto its shape. It is a very beautiful piece and the embossing is top notch. It even comes in a fabric bag for that extra care. Still it is very hard to use it as a solo piece because it is smaller than expected. It is definitely intended to be used as part of the Hektor Gorget (neck piece). So this one is mixed results; it is a good value for the price, it is a quality product and is striking. It is just going to take some creativity to incorporate it into any kit unless you also buy the additional neck piece. .
