Fashioned in a 17th century design with an intricate and stylish rifle butt stock, the Heavy 17th Century Crossbow is an exquisite decoration which will emanate a rich historical attractiveness throughout any room it is displayed in. Along the hardwood stock are engraved floral accents and golden colored ornaments. The bow is crafted from steel, with pieces of leather on each end which connect to the hemp bowstring. The front sight, back sight, and stirrup are all made from burnished metal which adds historical appeal as well as durability to this design. This crossbow is functional to fire and employs a pulling mechanism to do so. Included with this weapon is a wooden bolt which is tipped with metal.
