Gothic Suit of Armour

Warrior, you can prepare for battle and create a striking sight in your space by getting the Gothic Suit of Armour. Made from 18-gauge steel, this fully wearable garniture features the detailed German Gothic style of the late 15th century. This articulated suit of armour covers a knight from head to toe. It includes a sallet helmet, bevor, cuirass, pauldrons, full arm armour, full leg armour, gauntlets, and sabatons. Both the knees and elbows are 16-gauge steel.

Ridged patterns adorn the breastplate, cuisses, and pauldrons. Also, the gauntlets feature a fluted design, a common motif at this time in southern Germany. The ridges and fluting were meant to increase strength and blow resistance without adding extra weight. Together, the helm and bevor also provide great protection for the head and throat.

Finally, this suit of armour comes with a wooden base and stand. You can wear this knight armour to your next historical reenactment or put it on display in your home or office.

• This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil.
