A warm drink is always appreciated by the people in a mini Dickens or holiday village, so give them the Garraway’s Coffee House by Department 56. Made from porcelain, this hand-painted figurine takes its design inspiration from the real-life Garraways Coffee House that existed in 18th-century London.
This figurine has brown walls. It is taller in the center with a dark grey A-line roof. The coffee house has shorter sections on the sides. There are two different front doors. One is to the left side of the front, while the other one is to the right. They both have windows and Christmas decorations adorning them.
Bags of coffee sit in the snowy ground. They are next to the left door in addition to a black coffee sign. There is a barrel next to the right door. A lantern hangs over this door.
Between the doors is a large, green bay window. It has an evergreen tree in the snow next to it, while a garland adorns it. Above the window is a sign that reads Garraways Coffee House.
There are more windows on the sides and back of the wattle-and-daub-style building. They light up with a 120V bulb powered by a standard light cord. The building has two chimneys, one on each side. Patches of snow adorn the multiple roof lines of the building.
Finally, one side of the building has a stack of wood next to a silver-colored hatch. There is a wooden door on the back side of the building. This mini coffee house statue makes a great addition to any little Christmas village or snowy Victorian scene. This hand-painted miniature building is made by Department 56.
