The Duna Duna Viking Sword looks great on and off the battlefield. It is a great action sword for any Viking warrior. Made from EN45 high-carbon steel, this functional Norse sword features an unsharpened, double-edged blade. A wide fuller runs down the center of the tempered blade. An Ulfberht engraving adorns the fuller near the base of one side of the full-tang blade. The other side of the blade reads Duna + Duna.
The 10th century sword continues with a short, straight crossguard. It has rounded ends. Next, the hilt has a wooden grip. Brown leather wraps around the grip. Then, the hilt ends with a peened tea-cozy pommel. A peened pommel has a more durable construction. Both the guard and pommel are steel.
Finally, this sword comes with a wooden scabbard. Brown leather covers the scabbard. On the side, the scabbard has a wooden loop for sliding it onto a belt, not included. Also, there is a steel chape on the scabbard. This Viking sword is ideal for historical reenactments and weaponry collections.

Not a bad sword at all. Nice wide blade at base, which i love. The pommel does not impeed movement, as I feared it might. The blade is heavy and point heavy. It’s not a quick blade. You will need to be strong to swing this sword well. That is the main issue i have and why it gets 4 stars. The price is great for a good sword of a historical design. Scabbard it nice.
