The Corsair Pants are a simple and functional pair of pirate-styled pants that are made from 100% woven cotton. These authentic, medieval-styled pants are all about function, and what they lack in decoration, they make up for in other areas. Being made from 100% cotton, these pants can be regarded as a medium-weight garment. They strike a great balance between heaviness of fabric and protection against the elements. These pants feature belt-loops around the waist and fasten using buttons along the fly. These pants have straight, full-length legs that run from waist to ankle. The legs are fitted around the ankle with a cuff, but are otherwise loose-fitting around the rest of the leg. The Corsair pants allow for a wide range of movement and an even wider range of activity. Corsairs can wear them on ships, farmers can wear them in the dirt, and knights can wear them into battle. With no decoration to speak of, the Corsair Pants can be expected to go anywhere and do anything, without the wearer having to worry about soiling their decorative trousers.

They look good and fit good. My only complaint is the buttons aren’t stitched on very well down the front, one tore off while trying them on the first time, and the threads on another are already starting to pop.

Fabric is good quality and held up well after one ren faire at least. I’m 5’4” and bought the medium bc I needed the extra waist room; they’re baggier than they look in the picture, especially below the knee, and I had to hike them up a bit to above the belly button (waist was still a bit snug), but they’re comfortable and surprisingly fit tucked into my tall boots (though it was still pretty baggy above). I second the weak stitching on the buttons, but I restitched them myself after one popped off between faire days and it’s held up fine since. Massive pockets. Honestly considering wearing them casually around the house.
