Great shirt. I got this specifically to wear under a more fancy-style doublet for feasts, and it looks great. Nice, solid cotton. I would definitely recommend this shirt to anyone, and will probably buy another for myself sometime down the line. I’m a 43 inch chest, and the medium fit perfectly.

It’s a solid shirt on its own, but if you’re getting one that’s the Natural color, I wouldn’t recommend wearing it as a standalone top. It looks okay, but seems too neutral to me; do pardon my subjective view on the garment. On the plus side, they’re a lot of tops here that go with it. I see it as a solid building block in many of the outfit possibilities available here.

I freaking love this shirt. Looks exactly like the picture and the material is wonderful; simultaneously feels comfortable like a modern fabric but looks perfectly period all at a solid price. Highly recommend for LARP, Renaissance Faire and similar activities.

I read the reviews & everyone loves this shirt for a good reason–it’s awesome! I should have bought a Medium based on the Sizing Chart, but I know cotton shrinks & I wanted to be able to throw it in with the rest of my ordinary clothes. So, I bought an XXL. I washed it in cold water & hung it up to dry. I didn’t notice any shrinkage & the shirt still fits like it did before I washed it. I like a little bit of an oversized look for my outfit, so the XXL works out fine. GDFB makes some really quality & affordable clothing. The material on this shirt is the exact same material as their Medieval Hosen (GB3870). I bought this shirt in Brown & the color matches the Brown Medieval Hosen perfectly! I also like the indistinct style of this shirt, as well. You could easily wear this shirt in the Fall or Winter with a pair of jeans & no one would realize it’s a Ren Fest shirt. Like the other reviewers before me, I will also be getting more of these shirts. Burgundy is next on the list!

This classic shirt is comfortable to wear and the size fits good. I was at first worried about the sizes but the medium was perfect for a man of my size with an average build of 5’10” and 180 pounds.
