Made from leather, this brown bag has a front flap that secures closed with a strap and a brass-colored buckle. A rivet secures the strap to the front flap. On the back of the bag, there are two loops. They allow the bag to slide onto a belt, not included. Inside the bag, there are two side flaps to help secure items placed in the pouch. Excellent, roomy and in-period, this belt bag did not disappoint in the slightest. Its immersive look makes it perfect for storing a phone, wallet and car keys during a Renaissance festival, among other numerous practical applications.

This bag has a very attractive appearance. It’s a great size for carrying a lot of things without being too big or bulky. It looks exactly as pictured. It seems well constructed & I had no issues with the stitching. I love the side flaps under the main buckled flap for keeping out dust, dirt, rain, & debris that could blow in from the sides. The leather may not be overly soft or pliable, but it should keep its shape for a long time. I don’t really care too much for the strap & buckle closure. It’s kind of a challenge to get it buckled & unbuckled while you are wearing it….or not wearing it. The leather strap is already starting to fray on both of its edges where it comes into contact with the buckle just from me trying to practice with it. It may be that the prong is a little longer than it needs to be for smooth operation. I hope it becomes better with use & that the strap doesn’t eventually tear in two pieces. Fingers crossed.

Very nice and well shapped. The buckle is difficult to use and should not be set at the tightest notch since it will be extremely difficult to unbuckle at that point.

My husband wears it around the homestead – going from the computer to the sawmill, around the garden, chasing chickens, etc. So far, so good!
