The Blackened Markward Gorget stands out due to its construction from three metal pieces rather than the typical two-part design. The steel gorget shows off a great look with curved sides and a dark metal finish. Straps on the sides allow the medieval gorget to attach to a pair of spaulders like the Large Blackened Markward Spaulders (MY100074) or Small Blackened Markward Spaulders (MY100076). We recommend wearing a padded collar or other arming wear underneath the metal gorget for increased comfort. This neck armour works great for LARPing, re-enactments, and Renaissance fairs.
Please be aware that this armour is handmade, and it can be thicker than listed here. As such, it is intended mainly for costuming, light reenactment, and LARP.
When purchasing armour pieces, in order for the pieces to be compatible, it is best to stay within the brand.

Mytholon products always manage to please. Especially for the price, this is a fantastic peice of armor. Sturdy, well made, with a very solid not at all flimsy feel, and a good amount of adjustability for people of many sizes. I’ve got a 20″ neck and don’t at all get the choking feeling one gets with poorer made or sized pieces. Built to last and fits like a glove. A metal glove. For your neck. Built to stop swords and stuff. Is good.

Fits well on my athleti-thick 5’6″ frame. I have the belt straps adusted all the way out to get it over my head, and then tighten once on. As mentioned, this is great for the price, and fits shorter-frame knights well.

A very unique and stylish gorget. It’s hinged in the back and is easy to put on and take off. In blackened steel, it looks especially sinister.
