For those of us dressing up on a budget, these pants will work well for you, especially on a hot day.
Also, if you’re wearing boots and have a belt, then the length of the outseam and waist are not as important as the the length of the inseam, and here’s why: excess pant length can be comfortably tucked into boots, and the waist can be adjusted with the drawstrings and held in place with a belt as long as the waist isn’t too much bigger than your size. The inseam, however, is not adjustable when it come to how much room is available in the crotch area. To figure it out, subtract the inseam length from the outseam length and that’s about how much room you’re gonna have from your waist to the start of the inseam. Plan accordingly; I got lucky with just enough room down there.

These pants fit and looked perfect for my pirate costume at the Ren Faire. I’m a 34 waist and ordered the Large. There is enough room inside to make it comfortable throughout the entire day. The length were perfect to fit inside my boots without it ever coming out. Definitely recommend!

Okay so real talk these are the best set of basic combat pants I think I’ll ever buy, they seem nice and durable, and for once they actually fit my 6’5″ body, that’s a real shocker for me normally the legs are too short but these are perfect. The crotch is a bit tight, but that’s really not that big a deal they still fit. For what I paid these are gonna be a great pair of pants to wear when I know there is risk of them being destroyed. Also the pockets on mine were a little strange in that they ran down all the way to the crotch seam, nothing wrong with that I guess, but something to consider.

I can’t give these pants a 5 star because of the sizing. Ordered the x-small for my daughter and she can’t get them on. They are supposed to fit up to a 32″ waist. She has a 28″ waist and can”t get into them. Nice pants otherwise.

comfortable pants, a little tight in the groin. only complaint is after 3 days wear the waist tie broke on one of the pairs I bought. would still recommend to anyone that needs a light pair for summer or fall.

If you’re a lady, the sizing for these can be a bit odd. Since they are men’s pants, you need to take that into account when figuring out your size. Go by your hip measurement rather than your waist because these aren’t meant to be warm at your natural waist. If you have a booty, plan accordingly. I have a 34in waist and am 41in at the top of my hip bone where the pants sit and 45in around the widest part of my hips and behind. I got the large and everything fits just fine because of the drawstring waist. They are rather long on me (I’m 5’6”) and don’t have a lot of room in the crotch if I wear them where I like to wear pants, which is at my natural waist. Good quality for the price.

For me, they are a wee bit wide at the waist, but are easily remedied by the drawstring at the waist and cuffs(or however one calleth the bottom of trouser leggings). They also have an excellent length for me, falling precisely below my ankles. I suppose I have one objection, and that is the colour. I bought these in their green colour, and they seem simply too drab. Nonetheless, this is no great concern. Consider these well made and practical, if not aesthetic.

very comfortable, durable and machine washable. I wore them many hours with chainmail on top and a sword on the side.
Only deduction is for an awkward fit. the length from crotch to waist is very short. I have to pull them up uncomfortably high to make the waist band comfortable.
